Terms of use
The terms for Harefoot, the structured-training app for Apple Watch and iPhone, and its subscription.
The licence
Harefoot is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). The sections below describe Harefoot's subscription and how it works with other services; they don't replace the EULA.
The subscription
Harefoot is free to download, and your first month is free. After it, starting new runs needs a subscription:
- Harefoot Annual: 1 year for $29.99 (€29.99 in euro countries)
- Harefoot Monthly: 1 month for $4.99 (€4.99 in euro countries)
In other countries the App Store shows the local price before you buy. Both plans include every feature, on the iPhone and the Apple Watch.
- The free month. Each plan starts with a free month for new subscribers, once per Apple Account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the plan's price is charged to your Apple Account when it ends. If you allow notifications, Harefoot reminds you 2 days before.
- Renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same length until you cancel it. Apple charges each renewal in the 24 hours before the current period ends, so cancel at least 24 hours before then to stop the next charge. If the price changes, Apple tells you before it applies, as its rules require.
- Cancelling. In Harefoot: Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription; or on your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After you cancel, the subscription lasts until the end of the period you have.
- Payment and refunds. Apple bills the subscription under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Ask Apple for a refund in Harefoot (Settings → Subscription → Request a Refund) or at reportaproblem.apple.com; Apple decides it.
- Without a subscription. Your runs, history, run details and exports stay readable on your iPhone. New runs need a subscription; a run that has started always finishes and is saved. When Harefoot finds that your subscription ended, it revokes its own Strava access; your runs keep their links to Strava.
- Harefoot Lifetime. Every feature, for good. It isn't sold: Harefoot's beta testers receive it with an offer code.
Other services
- intervals.icu, Strava and Apple Health are separate services with their own terms. Harefoot isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by intervals.icu or Strava, and works with them only as far as they allow: Strava, for example, lets Harefoot connect a limited number of athletes until it approves more.
- If one of them changes or stops its service, the features that use it may stop working. Recording runs, your own workouts and plans, and Apple Health don't depend on them.
Training safely
- Harefoot is a training tool, not medical advice. Check with a doctor before you start a new training programme, and stop if you feel unwell.
- Distance, pace, heart rate and the other values come from your watch's GPS and sensors and can be wrong. Watch where you run, not the screen.
Your data
